Warren accepted an invitation to perform at the Hawth Arts Centre in Crawley this month to provide a recital in aid of the mayoral charity: The Alzheimer’s Society. Another charity recital followed soon afterwards at The Cornerstone in Milton Keynes where virtuoso works by Chopin featured largely in the programme. The following week he was in Leicester to play at the Opera Gala evening.
St. John’s Smith Square has started publicising Warren’s series of eleven monthly Chopin recitals from September 2015 to July 2016 during which he will play every one of Chopin’s solo piano compositions. Exciting partnerships with the Mayor of London’s Music Fund and the Polish Cultural Institute are currently under discussion.
During a week’s P&O cruise of the Norwegian fjords Warren entertained discerning passengers with a number of solo recitals which included …… some music by Grieg!
A visit to Chichester Cathedral to present a lunchtime recital rounded off another busy month.
